Song Production

Our song production process…

…may not necessarily be your song production process

Mouthful of Records (MOR) works at developing small production projects by combining expertise in songwriting, lyrics, music, instruments, vocals, atmospheric and experimental mood music. After years of listening and experimenting with recording and live audio, MOR brings a unique perspective to producing music; specifically individual songs.

Here’s how it could work for you:
  • Song listening (send an original song link)
  • Song development proposal per song review
  • Song development (parts of a song)
  • Song production (track by track)
  • Song mastering (optional)
  • Song registration (see guidebook)
  • Song identification (see guidebook)
  • Song distribution
    • Worldwide digital distribution, statistics and marketing tools
      • song(s), as albums or singles, are made available for sale
    • Web Radio play at participating stations
      • songs are put on rotation for promotion purposes only, no pay
    • Submissions to blogs, podcasts, playlists and aggregators
  • Song publishing (see guidebook)
  • Song support. Email if you have any questions.

Safe to say, music is a subjective business. That being said, every artist’s situation and song requirements are different. Sky’s the limit.

Fender

I use a Fender amplifier and Fender acoustic guitar.

For small shows and recording ‘off the floor’ I use a Bose PA.
